In March 2010 Thor lightning Protection Ltd completed the installation of lightning protection on phase 1, the production facility of the bottling plant.

Thor have now been rewarded with further works on phase 2, the storage and admin facilities, to be completed in early 2012. Thor is the principle contractor on site working in conjunction with the project management team of Whyte Young Green. Thor engineers will be on site for three weeks installing a lightning protection system, this will be a unique opportunity for the engineers as this is a 24/7 site and they will be working around the clock to complete the project within the agreed timescales.

A full test of the system will be carried out three months after the installation is complete.
