Shugborough Hall

Thor lightning Protection has successfully completed the installation of a fully compliant Lightning Protection system on the home of the Late Lord Lichfield.

This was done over a five week period working with the constraints of challenging access issues and around the general public.

Due to the buildings Grade 1 listed building status the project required the involvement and agreement of Staffordshire Borough Council, English Heritage and The National Trust.

The design had to be sympathetic to the building and adhere to the prerequisites of a site of this nature.

Thor lightning protection has also been successful in securing the test and maintenance regime in conjunction with its agreement with Staffordshire Borough Council, which it has enjoyed since 1997.
